Breezy Aircraft - The Bracey RLU-1 prototype, described as an antique style, first flew on 7 August 1964 in the United States. Designed by three professional pilots to create a cheap, easy sport plane using modern construction methods, radio and hydraulic brakes, the bridge became very popular with examples built in the US, Canada, South Africa and Australia. Brazy - "Brzy" may be an appropriate name for an aircraft of this configuration - an open cockpit and two seats, pilot in front and two passengers on a bench behind - received the model designation RLU-1. Starting with three designers, Messrs. Rolfe, Lipowski and Unger

Equipped with parasol wings, various engines could be fitted from 67 kw (90 hp) to 112 kw (150 hp) and examples were completed with the 67 kw (90 hp) Continental C90-8F-P, Lycoming. C-290-G, and the 108 kw (145 hp) Continental O-300-D. In a welded steel tube fuse system without construction, the tail unit is a steel tube bonded to a fabric cover. To save time and cost, wings from production type Piper PA-22 and Cessna 172 wings are commonly used.In recent years, this type has been marketed by Carl Unger of Illinois, Okla. The original prototype is maintained by the EAA AirVenture Museum in Oshkosh, Wisconsin.
